Government of Andhra Pradesh has started YSR Sampoorna Poshana. Ysr sampoorna poshana is a welfare program launched for children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers. Aim behind this program is to provide nutritious food to eligible. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy started Ysr sampoorna poshana program on 7th September 2020 to cover around 30.16 lakh women and children of Andhra Pradesh. Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh decided budget of this yojana is ₹1,863 crores per annum. Providing nutritious food will eradicate malnutrition among kids and pregnant women.

Under Department of Women Development & Child Welfare Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh (Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy) started YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus. Under this scheme children, pregnant women, and lactating women will get nutritious food for free.  To provide nutritious food under YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus+ started 77 Scheduled and Tribal sub-mandals that will be covered. This will help in Improving the health and nutrition among children, pregnant and lactating mothers, which also reduce mortality and malnutrition.
